PRINCIPLE OF ACTION:

Fixed on a fixed base, the motor, periodically winding a strong kapron thread on the shaft (unwinds on the reverse stroke), tightens and freely releases the cradle exactly in time with the rocking.

It is recommended to put a well-fed, healthy, ready-to-sleep child in a crib and connect the CROSS to work.

Installation of the Nanina automatic rocking mechanism

Horizontally or vertically (with the flywheel up), we fix the motor on a fixed base in any convenient place so that the shaft is strictly opposite to the direction of swing.

We do not tighten the screws to the end, the engine should be held by the rubber bands, and not by pressing the surface.

In the plane of the upper end of the engine housing, horizontally, if possible in the direction of swing, at a distance of 5 to 35 cm.

We select the place of attachment of the thread on the cradle (NOT ON THE LEVER OF THE PENDULUM!!!), fasten the clip** or the screw.

The thread is attached to the motor by pulling it into the slot of the flywheel with a pre-made knot from above, and simply tie it to the fasteners with a margin – it is convenient to adjust the length of the thread even if it breaks (it rubs on the shaft).

The length of the working part of the thread should be such that in the neutral position of the cradle and the tensioned thread, 3-4 turns come out on the shaft, and the relative location of the motor and the fasteners should be such that the thread lies on the shaft in ONE row when working.

The operation of the Nanina automatic rocking mechanism

We connect the installed device with a fixed thread to the power supply unit – it will give two sound signals, tighten the thread, adjust the microphone – the quieter the surroundings, the higher the sensitivity and vice versa.

Standby mode is activated. Motion sickness will begin smoothly and gently from a mechanical impact (a push with the hand, disturbing the baby in the cradle) or from a sound of a certain duration, tonality and intensity (including a child’s cry). The specified amplitude of swaying is 1.5 cm. However, due to the child’s anxiety or some other obstacles, short-term fading or bursts occur.

The first operating cycle after each power connection is from 15 minutes, the next up to 30 minutes, depending on the design of the cradle and how quickly the restart will occur after the automatic stop and transition to standby mode.

When working with very light beds, it is recommended to slightly push the kapron tie fastening the motor housing onto the shaft. The same procedure helps to eliminate the uncharacteristic sound of the motor operation, which sometimes occurs over time (increased wear of the shaft bearings when working with heavy beds).

It is recommended to have a spare thread on the fastening.

When the thread breaks, as well as when idling (without thread), the engine stops after a certain number of attempts (two short beeps) and goes into standby mode.

If the installed motor stops prematurely, giving short high-frequency signals at the same time, you should check the CRADLE TRAVEL and LENGTH of the thread, as well as compliance with other installation requirements.

Improvement of the swing of the cradle

Eliminate obvious obstacles to rocking
Under the cot on the arches, provide a solid base and fasten the motor-thread-fastener above
Loosen the 8 screws securing the pendulum arms 4) Lubricate the bearings
Check that the bushings between the levers and the support are correctly installed.

They should stand with a wide part to the support. If necessary, replace deformed ones.

Replace unusable levers or use 7-8 mm wide nylon ties *** instead. and length from 350 mm.

The cradle should sway independently from a push to a complete stop for at least 6 seconds, the more, the better!
